The conspirators have failed once again, says Bayo Onanuga
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Mr Peter Obi presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 elections, have failed to compel a United States District Court of Columbia, to order the release of classified files on Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu in time for the Supreme Court hearing.
Aaron Greenspan had filed the emergency motion seeking to compel the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys (“EOUSA”), Department of State, FBI, Internal Revenue Service, Drug Enforcement Administration, and the CIA to quickly release the documents to him latest October 31, because they are vital to the appeal hearings of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Mr Peter Obi at the Nigerian Supreme Court .
Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a post on X, wrote, “Aaron Greenspan, the American agent and contractor of Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and David Hundeyin loses bid to stampede the Washington D.C court to order the release of President Tinubu’s FBI record. The conspirators have failed once again.”
Ruling on the appeal, Judge Beryl A. Howell declined Greenspan’s request on the grounds that he failed to satisfy the relevant conditions for the grant of such a prayer contained in a motion for emergency hearing, which he filed on Monday.
