Beneficial Ownership Register (BOR) platform unveiling:
The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Registrar General, Alhaji Garba Abubakar, on Friday unveiled a Beneficial Ownership Register (BOR) platform, allegedly to strengthen the Buhari administration’s fight against corruption in the business space.

The portal, an automated platform will warehouse the database of all registered entities, and owners or persons with significant control, PSC and will be accessible to the public and government, through a search function.

Why it is necessary
:
“The BOR Portal will enable users to find Person with Significant Control (PSC) in any entity collated by the CAC, when a search is initiated using parameters like entity’s name, entity’s number, PSC first name, and PSC surname.”

“The BOR will provide a simple, precise, and user-friendly environment for the search and provision of information on persons with significant control (PSC), added that it is accessible in real-time via http://bor.cac.gov.ng ”

The commission also added that it will soon launch a customer relationship management system (CRM) to upscale the Commission’s customer service by addressing complaints in record time.
